The last day of the 10-day excursion was sunny but still quite windy and cold.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>We have concluded our 10-day field test for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.robolit.com\/index.php\/en\/projects\/automated-herd-control-system-ahcs\/\">Vence Project<\/a>, which had s<a href=\"https:\/\/www.robolit.com\/index.php\/en\/2017\/04\/04\/third-vence-field-trip-started\/\">tarted on April 5th<\/a>. Took place in the beautiful\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/pore\/index.htm\">Point Reyes National Shoreline<\/a>, this third meeting of the group has been the most exciting time of our work to date. We made great discoveries and conducted very successful trials. It seems that the project will get even more exciting in the coming months.<\/p>\n<p>During this trip we setup shop at two\u00a0different locations: downtown San Fransisco for the initial assembly and tests;\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Bolinas,_California\">Bolinas, CA<\/a> for the day to day cattle experiments. The graph here shows the amount of daily sleep time over the course of the trip. As with any investigative work into uncharted territory we\u00a0unavoidably come across some failures, which in turn caused disappointment. In just three months we made great strides. Deservedly, we celebrated our accomplishments with unbelievable Oysters from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/pore\/index.htm\">Point Reyes<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>We are looking forward to the next installation of our field tests!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>We have concluded our 10-day field test for the Vence Project, which had started on April 5th.
