First of a series of meetings organized by\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.afad.gov.tr\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener\">AFAD<\/a>, the Turkish equivalent of\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.fema.gov\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"external noopener\">FEMA<\/a>, this event brings policy makers, academic researchers and industry representatives together to establish short term and long term goals to help Turkish response agencies better prepared for natural disasters.
